Good afternoon,

I am start gathering the documents to apply K-1 visa for my fiancé. Please check these and all your inputs will be highly appreciated.

1 I129F

2 G325 A - both for US citizen and fiance

3 check

4 statement certifying an intent to marry - 2 copies - one for US citizen and one for fincee, signed and dated

5 passport photos as per spec - US citizen and fiancé

6 naturalization certificate of US citizen

7 divorce certificate of US citizen (divorced 10+ years already)

8 pictures together during the trip, with family members - will put name and date at the back of each pic

9 copy of passport page with visa stamp

Depending on what country your intended is from you may want to consider some front loading.

If you met online, include the terms of service of the website. Ideally, call their customer service and get a letter or e-mail from them stating they are not regulated by IMBRA and are not an International Marriage Broker.

Plus, the K-1 guide lists everything else you'll need.

Just a warning to make sure that your Divorce Decree has a signature from the judge and is a certified copy. If you check the RFE list people have recently been receiving a lot of RFE for not providing ALL pages of the Divorce Decree or one that is missing a signature from the judge!
