Judester here!

My husband and his kids just had their interview on Monday! Green card approved! Interview lasted only 15 minutes and 5 of that was for idle chit chat! Name check came through the Friday prior to the interview. No more USCIS for 21 months. We even received the emails by the time we got home from the interview! Now I'll go in and update our timeline.

I get all excited when I see this thread pop up hoping someone has received good news.

It's been 6 months since we filed. I can't wait to here good news from the last of the March filers.

Nothing here either. We had an extra information disclosure form from the senator's office, so we sent it in asking if they could give us any sort of status update just so we know if we should send in for AP. We'll get everything together for it in the meantime, but it would be nice to not waste $300+.

I kind of expected a long wait when I knew that my file had been transferred to CSC, our I129F for my K1 was stuck there for more than 8 months last year so my expectations were not that high for my AOS

I just had my second appointment for biometrics because some "smart" clerk decided to generate a new A# for my file instead of using the one I had provided in the application , so now they need a set of biometrics for each number

The good thing is that it only took them four months to figure this out - the last touch that I had was back in may.

Anyway, still here and I have a feeling that I'll be here for a long time

I just called misinfo# line. They said they are working on case that were filed on March 19,07 and pls call back again later in 30 days..!!

I wonder if they count the original receipt date or the date it was received in California.

Either way, I'm sure we have a while to wait. :\

I'm pretty sure they go by the receipt date on the NOA. Mine says March 16th. And guess what? I got a touch on September 19th!!! That's the first one in five months! I had been completely ignoring the USCIS status page because it had become disheartening, so it came as a complete shock when I logged in and saw that they'd been working on my application after all. The only problem is that now I'm wondering if I'm going to be sent an RFE or if they're actually going to send me a greencard. Or maybe they're just going to stick it back in a drawer again for another 5 months. sheesh.

I'll let you know how it goes. I sure hope it's a good touch because I've now had to change my USCIS password 3 times and it's getting hard for me to remember what I changed it to.

I hear you on that one! We've gone through so many variations of our original password that we've had to go to something totally different which is hard to remember after all this time.
