3/20/07: Mailed I765/485/130 To chicago

3/29/07: NOA For all three

4/9/07: RFE (medical) grrrr!

4/9/07: Interview date notification. (7/27/07)

5/20/07: Sent out rfe response.

6/5/07: RFE response received by NBC.

6/7/07: EAD card production ordered.

6/10/07: AOS and EAD touched?

6/12/07: EAD card production ordered again!!!

6/13/07: EAD touched again

6/16/07: EAD card notice: approval sent,,,

6/18/07: EAD touched again....

6/18/07: Received EAD card in the mail!

7/27/07: Interview day, everything went well except the fact that the doctor made an error on the forms- RFE.

No touches after interview,,,, strange.

Hey guys...we've had no news or touches for a while, but we did notice that they changed their status dates on the website - now instead of showing which dates they're working on, they say "6 months" for CSC.

Does this mean that 6 months after your NOA1 if you haven't heard anything, you can harrass them? Or is it 6 months after transfer to CSC?

We're being patient and not really checking all that often, but it would be nice to know so we can schedule vacations for early next year.

I have no idea about this, cellarlily. I have heard some say it's 6 months as of the NOA1 date, but then with the CSC transfers, you never know if they use that date or the date they receive it.

The other thing to consider is that the 6 month timeframe given is for employment based applications. Ours don't classify as employment based, I don't think.

Darn it! I thought this was your post that you received the GC approval. :) Fingers crossed for the next post.

I wondered about the 6 months timeframe too. But then figured it didn't really mean a hill of beans anyway.

For the AP, you can check if you want it for one trip or multiple trips (I dunno why anyone would check only one).

That's good to know about AP. We didn't bother applying for it before the fee went up because we thought we'd wait until his GC came to go abroad, but we'd really like to get away next year.
