Oh.. the green card arrived today (and it's not even green!) 8 days after the "card production ordered" email - just as I was advised by another VJ member.

Now I can truly say I'm done for 2 years (but what will my excuse be then for lurking the forums?)

EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! GOT IT GOT IT GOT IT!!! :D :D We finally got my husband's EAD card in the mail. A mere 57 days since it was approved. Starting validation: May 31st. Two whole months wasted, but hey...at least we have it now.

The funny (ok, not funny at all, but highly ironic) part: it was originally sent to the correct address on June 4th. Yup...that means they never had our address wrong and it was returned to sender by the USPS for whatever reason. His name is clearly on the mailbox, we've never had a problem getting mail from DHS, USCIS or anywhere else...so why they would resend this, I have no clue.

So, I'm not so mad at USCIS anymore. :)

eeeee....we'll have money again...soooo great.
