The infopass appointment went well. I was so incredibly nervous for no real reason. The officer told us that his EAD card was sitting at the National Service Center and that she would tell them to resend it to the definite correct address and we should expect it in 30 days, but most likely 7-10. I can live with that.

Apparently the address on his AOS was messed up, too. ?? He had verified with CSC about the address and they sent notification that it was correct (to the correct address). Anyway, she changed that one as well. I asked her why our AOS went from "transferred to CSC" to "Pending at CSC" 60 days later, then "transferred to CSC" only a couple weeks after that. She said that currently our case is in TEXAS, though California still "owns" it. ??? I have NO idea what that means, but she said that they have everything, have not issued a RFE, so it is likely going through name checks and will be adjuncated without an interview.

Whew. Long story short, she's going to have the EAD resent and we will hopefully receive it by the end of the month. AOS...no clue. We'll just watch and see.

I had my interview this morning!

It was a pleasant experience. We took 6 big piles of files with us and prepared whole night about different questions they may ask separating us!! We had our interview this morning, and we were APPROVED!!!!    The IO was stone-cold emotionless and made me a nervous wreck-- he didn't even crack a smile when I told him that I'd just had a baby! We were adjusting from VWP, so he did a little grilling on David's ties to England, why he came to America, when he'd planned on going back, and why he stayed. He only took the I-94 and a copy of our marriage certificate, even though I had copies of EVERYTHING! Then out of nowhere, he told us he was approving us today and the card would arrive in 7-10 days!

I'm so happy! Now we just have to lift conditions in January and we're DONE with USCIS

October 2005: Met online playing World of Warcraft

December 19, 2005: David flies to America on VWP to visit

February 26, 2006: Married!

June 21, 2006: I-130 approved

April 5, 2007: Biometrics

May 30, 2007: Email notification: EAD approved!!

Awwww. Congratulations on the baby and your approval LostUnderWaves!! Congratulations to Indian Doc, also!!

Wow, CellarLily. That's so weird that your case is in Texas. I'm glad your InfoPass appointment went well, though.

Mo, you are a sweetheart. Thanks for keeping a list and for all the support from everybody. It sure does bring comfort, somehow. :)

It will be interesting to see when the final March filer gets their GC. Hope we don't set any records.
