I certainly needed the 'insurance policy' of the EAD. It's been a month or more since I got my EAD and still no sign of the GC. I think I'm the longest waiting March filer now. I called the mis-information line and really, the didn't know anything other than my last update, but she advised an info pass to see if I was stuck in namecheck hell. :unsure:

You're not the last! We are still at Missouri with no transfer or interview or EAD/GC in sight at day 86. We are still in 'preliminary security review' (whatever THAT means). :help:

We have almost same time line. My last touch was on May 21. Maybe our file in the same pile on some lazy worker's desk. OH WELL ..Let's see what will happen today........ Hope we'll get some action soon!!!

Its surprising that you havent received your EAD card yet, considering yours got approved before ours. The USCIS works in mysterious ways.

3/20/07: Mailed I765/485/130 To chicago

3/29/07: NOA For all three

4/9/07: RFE (medical) grrrr!

4/9/07: Interview date notification. (7/27/07)

5/20/07: Sent out rfe response.

6/5/07: RFE response received by NBC.

6/7/07: EAD card production ordered.

6/10/07: AOS and EAD touched?

6/12/07: EAD card production ordered again!!!

6/13/07: EAD touched again

6/16/07: EAD card notice: approval sent,,,

6/18/07: EAD touched again....

6/18/07: Received EAD card in the mail!

7/27/07: Interview day, everything went well except the fact that the doctor made an error on the forms- RFE.

No touches after interview,,,, strange.

It is not fair for these recent approvals. I am still waiting patiently for mine. I am afraid that they might in turn reject me. My last touch was on May 30th.

I know it feels unfair, but it really more a matter that some cases take longer to process than others. Each case is unique. Don't let the fear of a rejection at this point take hold of you. If you meet all the requiremetns for AOS and give them allthe evidence they need for the application, you will not be rejected. (F)

Yeah...it's pretty annoying. :( Hopefully we can get it straightened out at our Infopass appointment.

Hang in there! Look at our timeline in my siggie. We had several touches in May. then nothing for 2 weeks. then one touch. Then 2 weeks later the card ordered email. I know sometimes touches mean nothing, but in this case I think its a GREAT sign. Just hold on a little bit more!

Update for me: I received my actual green card this past Saturday, 6/23.

The dates are wrong! Though I had just been approved on 6/6/07, the card says that I have been a "resident since 6/6/06!" The expiry date is wrong as well -- instead of 6/6/09, it reads 6/6/08!

Ack! I now have to file a form I-90 and relinquish my incorrect card! Then I need to schedule an InfoPass to get an I-551 stamp on my passport! :-(

Happy to be approved but now there's more USCIS paperwork drama and waiting... :crying:
