2016

Jul 5 - Receipt date for I-130 petition for my over 21 brother and his wife (both in the UK)

2024

Feb 23 - Sent USCIS a message asking for a processing update

May 6 - Received an email response saying things were progressing normally but that waiting times might be longer

Aug ?? - mailed I-130 packages for both mother and father
Sept 10 - NOA1 date
Sept 16 - NOA1s received

2014

Feb 25, 26 & 28 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office, then to my local office, and then just transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

You know whats crazy - your NOA1 date was one day before mine and you got approved one day before me! :lol: Even with my RFE!!!

I applied for SSN card 3 weeks back and havent recieved it.. Don know whats goin on!!

AOS, EAD

2006-Dec : Came to US for vacation

2007-Jan : Married to US citizen

2007-Mar : Medical exam with CS

2007-Mar : Filed I 485, I 130, I 765

2007-Mar, 20: Recieved NOA for all the three applications

2007-Mar : Biometrics for 485, 765 notice recieved

2007-Apr : Biometrics for 485 and 765 given

2007-May : Recieved Interview letter for AOS, 485

2007-Jun 02 : EAD recieved by postal mail

2007-Jun 04: Applied for SSN card

2007-Jun 23: Recieved SSN card.

2007-Jul : AOS interview at Memphis

2007-Jul 24 AOS APPROVED and recieved following emails and touches..

Card Production ordered email

Approval notice sent email

Welcome notice sent email..

... yeah all good things on same day!!

2007 Jul 30 email received "Approval Notice for I 485 sent"

2007 Aug 03 PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD RECEIVED by mail

2009 April 24 Next Form to be files I 751.. Till then No USCIS!!

11/29/2007 - Infopass appointment - file was sent to a storage facility before it was finished processing.

05/28/2008 - Received AOS Interview notice

07/10/2008 - AOS Interview-APPROVED pending fingerprints

09/22/2008 - GREEN CARD IN HAND!

You know whats crazy - your NOA1 date was one day before mine and you got approved one day before me! :lol: Even with my RFE!!!

Wacky USCIS. :lol: Now even crazier, they just sent an email telling us they recieved the RFE stuff and are processing the EAD. Sometimes I am just amazed at how we made it this far!

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

We did't get to use the EAD at all !!!!! Got the EAD on a Friday GC on the next monday. :wacko: Go figure.

Atleast I'll get to use my EAD btween now and my interview (7/27) At times it feels like a waste of money.

3/20/07: Mailed I765/485/130 To chicago

3/29/07: NOA For all three

4/9/07: RFE (medical) grrrr!

4/9/07: Interview date notification. (7/27/07)

5/20/07: Sent out rfe response.

6/5/07: RFE response received by NBC.

6/7/07: EAD card production ordered.

6/10/07: AOS and EAD touched?

6/12/07: EAD card production ordered again!!!

6/13/07: EAD touched again

6/16/07: EAD card notice: approval sent,,,

6/18/07: EAD touched again....

6/18/07: Received EAD card in the mail!

7/27/07: Interview day, everything went well except the fact that the doctor made an error on the forms- RFE.

No touches after interview,,,, strange.

8/22/07: Card production ordered.

8/27: Welcome notice received.

8/31: i485 approval notice sent.

9/4: GCard received.

In hindsight yes, I can understand the waste of money We filed for both the EAD and AP and the Green Card was approved first. BUT remember it was an insurance policy against having some slow process for AOS and then you would have really needed the EAD.
