In a little over 24 hours we will be sitting in the interview office in Fresno, CA. I reviewed the letter we received for the appointment last night and am glad I did. They say to bring 3 years of tax returns, 2 months of pau stubs, and a letter from my employer, even though they were not required when we submitted original support documents. Luckily my employer is helpful so they are typing up a letter today.

Wish us luck and I will let everyone know how it goes tomorrow.

quick update/more complaining...

EAD card is still not here. We're pretty sure it's the post office, but if he doesn't receive it next week he will inquire about reissuing it. It's been 2 weeks since approval now.

AOS still has not received a pending status at CSC and has had no updates since April 19th. They e-mailed me back saying they don't answer questions via e-mail, call the hotline, blah blah blah. Neither Illinois senator has responded to me. I think they think I'm being silly, but it's incredibly frustrating when someone who was transferred a week ago already has a pending status.

Any advice? Should we make an Infopass appointment or is it pointless? Should I just stop worrying about it and assume it's there?

I feel your pain,, I'm still waiting for the approval email, I already got two 'production ordered' emails, last lud was 6/13,, I wish they didn't even send those emails coz all they do is make someone long for something thats not forthcoming.

Thank you. :) I'm sorry to complain so much, I know so many people have had it much worse. This forum is great for all the support and advice it provides, but sometimes it's a killer when you look and see how much faster other people get through this.

You're right about the lack of e-mails. His 129F was approved with no e-mails or any updates from USCIS. I have to believe that the touches after the transfer e-mail had to be some sort of receipt at California. We'll see. The main part is getting the actual EAD card right now.

What are the new rules/fees going to be for AP and EAD after July 30th? Will people still be able to apply for them separate from the AOS? He may just apply for AP in July if there's no word just in case this drags out too long.
