Hi Guys,

OK, this is my first time posting here. I have to say these forums have been a GREAT help for me. I filed in March and got my interview notification... and needless to say I'm super scared :(

I didnt file for EAD according to my lawyer's advice... although I think i should've filed for it as well... oh well.

Your timeline looks great! Good luck on your interview.

Why did your lawyer advise against applying for EAD? I didn't either, I am hoping I get approved quickly but if there is no movement on my case, I will apply before the fees go up.

I am curious to know what your lawyer's rationale is- can you tell me?

I'm with ya! I did get an email saying they approved my AP, so now I just need the EAD so I can use my AP. lol..I 'm sure they will approve ours anytime now. All the best!

I'm sure you'll get your EAD soon! We got touched again today, so we're all giddy and hyper. :dance:

I haven't had a touch on my EAD since biometrics, so I hope they come soon!

December 19, 2005: David flies to America on VWP to visit

February 26, 2006: Married!

March 14, 2006: Filed I-130 ... by itself. Oops.

June 21, 2006: I-130 approved

March 12, 2007: Mailed I-485 package

April 5, 2007: Biometrics

May 30, 2007: Email notification: EAD approved!!

June 4, 2007: EAD received!!

July 24, 2007: Interview 8am APPROVED!!! Day 133 from filing. Emails for card production and welcome letter.

July 25, 2007: Passport stamped

August 6, 2007: GC in hand

Jun-12-07 : Another e-mail from CRIS stating card production ordered for EAD on June 12th?!

June 15-07 : E-mail saying that "Approval notice sent" for EAD

July-11-07 Interview, I-130 approved, AOS pending (name check)

Aug-14-07 E-mail from CRIS, notifying a welcoming notice was sent to the new perm. resident!!!

I know it is a silly question but... what's next???

My EAD was touched in the last two hours!!! :D They haven't played with it since early April - this makes me happy!
