Is it possible the Biometrics could be for both the EAD and the AOs even though the notice only references the AOS?

Does it say Code 3 in the top right hand corner of the notice for the biometrics appt? If so then yes, it's for both the EAD and the AOS.

Jul 5 - Receipt date for I-130 petition for my over 21 brother and his wife (both in the UK)

Feb 23 - Sent USCIS a message asking for a processing update

May 6 - Received an email response saying things were progressing normally but that waiting times might be longer

Feb 25, 26 & 28 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office, then to my local office, and then just transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

With the ability to legally work things will start to get more normal now :) It is time to stop window shopping for a job and start spreading resumes!!!

Jun-07-07 : E-mail from CRIS stating card production ordered for EAD on June 7th

Jun-12-07 : Another e-mail from CRIS stating card production ordered for EAD on June 12th?!

June 15-07 : E-mail saying that "Approval notice sent" for EAD

July-11-07 Interview, I-130 approved, AOS pending (name check)

Aug-14-07 E-mail from CRIS, notifying a welcoming notice was sent to the new perm. resident!!!

I would say No... that if your appt notice lists the only case type as I485, then that is all it is for... I might suggest that you could infopass to discover why you never got your NOA1 for EAD and also when biometrics should be done?? As you well know the EAD takes up to 90 days to obtain... so they might not do too much for you for another 2 months on that. At least you know that they have it and can guess that it is pending at CSC.

I've been absent for a few days because I've been so busy with stuff for opening my cafe in two weeks that I just haven't had time. Congrats to those of you who were approved for AOS and those for EAD. No touches for us since it was sent to CSC two weeks ago. I'm keeping myself busy and trying not to check! GOOD LUCK ALL!!!!

March 2nd- Sent package

March 7th- Receipt date/ checks cashed

March 15th- Notice of Biometrics for March 28th

March 16th- RFE for AOS posted online, still waiting for the actual letter in mail.

March 23rd- RFE letters arrived.

March 28th- Had Biometrics, all went smoothly.

April 9th- Informed that case processing has been resumed.

April 24th- AOS Transferred to CSC.

May 18th- Got the case pending at CSC email.

May 24th- EAD APPROVED.

Congratulations! :dance: Movement is always good with CSC. Hoping we get our pending email too this week. Or next week? Or sometimes soon :lol:

We've been touched and touched again lately.. anyone else getting loads of touches but no progress. Wednesday seems to be our day both our EAD & AOS have been touched on Wed the past 2 weeks. Hmmmm.. how much "work" needs to be done on those puppies?

AOS:

2007-02-22: Sent AOS /EAD

2007-03-06 : NOA1 AOS /EAD

2007-03-28: Transferred to CSC

2007-05-17: EAD Card Production Ordered

2007-05-21: I485 Approved

2007-05-24: EAD Card Received

2007-06-01: Green Card Received!!

Removal of Conditions:

2009-02-27: Sent I-751

2009-03-07: NOA I-751

2009-03-31: Biometrics Appt. Hartford

2009-07-21: Touched (first time since biometrics) Perhaps address change?

2009-07-28: Approved at VSC

2009-08-25: Received card in the mail

Naturalization

2012-08-20: Submitted N-400

2013-01-18: Became Citizen
