We received the email about the CSC transfer later Friday night the 13th April. Yesterday (April 19)we received the written notice it was transfered. No idea if its there or not.

Got a touch yesterday for AOS. Still no touch on EAD since April 4th. PLEASE touch the EAD I want Neil to work he is going mad not working.

"Touch" means your case has been looked at by a USCIS officer. These dates are found by registering at the USCIS case website with your NOA1 numbers (notice of action - the letter you receive when they have received your case). You do not get a notification of these "touches", but the updated date changes. This means they have taken your petition, scanned it and have looked at/touched it in some way.

RFE means "request for evidence" and they send you a letter when they require more information from you, like if you forgot something required for the petition, didn't sign something, or they want further proof of whatever it is. If you sign up for e-mail updates on the USCIS website, they usually send an e-mail when they have sent one of these letters so you can prepare for it. Otherwise, an RFE letter can show up at any time during the process. You have a certain amount of time to return the evidence they ask for, otherwise your petition will be considered abandoned and you will be denied.

Yup, i decided that the signature would make it easier to keep updated and the such.

I would want you working, a nurse is someone you want out their performing their duties. Likewise with me to a degree, i am a teacher...Yet here i wait.

It seems that we go through periods of multiple then periods of nothing for 10 days or 2 weeks...Still, at least we are at this stage and not waiting to be with our partners....I always say thank you for that because i remember nights in England when it got so hard that i just prayed to be with my love. It is nice to keep that in mind as we wait to be approved

You think it's bad that you guys can't work, it's very true the world needs nurses and teachers, but REALLY now. I'm a Waitress, there's got to be a huge shortage on those!!!

We received our AOS appointment letter today(4/21). No touches since the 9th, but the letter was dated the 17th. Just goes to show how little they update the web. Our appointment is June 14th in Fresno, CA.

Yeah, the Fresno office isn't bakllogged so I had assumed we'd get called for the interview and not transferred to CSC. They were averaging 3-5 months on all the prior VJers so I'm at 4 months right there in the middle.

Good luck for everyone still waiting on appointments or news. I know the worst is not knowing when.

WE also got our interview notice on the 21st! Scheduled for June 6th in San Francisco. That is very fast, only recieved one touch and no RFE's. Whew, so far so good. Now just getting more documents that has our joint names on it and do the checklist on what to bring to interview.

Wow - that's amazing! Congratulations... here's to hoping all of us get interview notices soon! (My timeline's similar to yours - separate from the K1 - but hopefully San Francisco will have room for me, too?)
