I think I am the first ... I'm not sure why but I just hope it means speedy approvals/interviews for the rest!

Well I'm glad you have a quck interview notice! And I hope you don't get stuck in namecheck - as I do with everyone else also!

It'll be fine, but I understand, if I have one also it'll be like going to the embassy again, no food, no sleep, the shakes

I'm hoping we're not stuck in it too long - keep telling myself he has a very uncommon name, so we'll be ok. Not that it really means anything, but it makes me feel better haha.

Some have even said it could be finished already, but I'm not sure how much I want to get my hopes up.

We got transferred to California yesterday! All that impatience finally paid off.

Nothing in the way of EAD, though. That hasn't been touched since the 9th. Booo.

I know what you mean, I keep thinkg about my maiden and married names, my maiden is so uncommon, theres only 3 families with the name and the married name is also rare, not QUITE so rare but rare, so I'm hoping I don't get stuck either!

Thanks, I'm hoping too.

What really annoys me is when you have an RFE or when you first apply, you know the recieved it on such and such date but then they say they recieved it about 5 days later, and it bugs me cause I am like no if you'd look and get around to it, you'd see you have it before then!

Good, good. Just waiting on the tax info from my mom (joint sponsor) along w/ her employment letter. We have (it's a lot):

*letters from before we married, cards from after

*mail received at our address - most of it is addressed to us separately, not too much is joint yet b/c we married in January - there are a few things from the bank that are together, the acct didn't get much use the first few months because my employer wouldn't switch it over, but I got a new job so now it's getting use but won't have any statements in time

*a letter from my employer that shows him as a beneficiary to my life insurance (just generic mail they send out to everyone when they sign up for insurance, but still)

* a letter from my employer that makes it clear he's covered under my dental - also have the same letter they sent to me(dental doesn't give insurance cards so I also have:)

*a printout from metlife.com showing that we're covered under the same plan

*birthday, valentines day, etc cards

*a thank you card from his cousin addressed to both of us

*photo album about half full of pictures, including our wedding - decent amt of pictures, he wants to get more though

*some other random stuff, like a card for his birthday from my parents, etc etc

then all the standard tax, birth certificates etc
