Well, I got a new touch today but no email saying anything :crying:

Congrats mybackpages, my best wishes for a speedy green card!

I went to an infopass the same afternoon I had my biometrics done. The officer recommended not to move anything on my case because it could cause a delay. He said something like the namecheck they do is on my maiden name and they also have my fingerprints, so, I can later (like in the interview) ask for my married name to be corrected. Lets hope it will be that easy.

Best luck to you all march filers ;)

Express mailed it back to them today, they'll get it by monday, I'm sure they'll tell me they recieved it in a week and then I hope I get transfered like you guys :(

I feel left out

*pout*, For all my early progress i am still up in MSC....

Congrats to those in CSC however ^_^

-Scott.

They are just having so much fun with your petition Scott, they do not want to send it over! :P

I've noticed a lot of people going through thier local office are getting the interview really quickly. There doesn't seem to be more than a month's wait more than the CSC transferees. I also looked at the list for some people sent to CSC and there are severl who have a NOA1 date for Aug or Sept and they are just getting the green card. Time will tell if CSC is good or not. Hang in there!

Man, i knew i shouldn't have littered my cover letter with jokes and amusing stories- They just wont let it go. Actually i dont really care, as long as i get my EAD they can take an age over the Greencard.

I saw a few people talking about how this thread might stress people out, personally (and why i made it) i find that it just reminds us that we are not alone.

Regards to everyone.

-Scott.

March 23rd- RFE letters arrived.

March 28th- Had Biometrics, all went smoothly.

April 9th- Informed that case processing has been resumed.

April 24th- AOS Transferred to CSC.

May 18th- Got the case pending at CSC email.

May 24th- EAD APPROVED.

Hey gang!

Just adding to the "Chit Chat".... :hehe:

My husband and stepsons Biometrics appointment letters came today! Their appointments are all at the same time on April 23,2007.

I kind of thought it was weird the boys have appointments also because they are 10 and 12 and supposedly dont need biometrics under age 14... or do they?

Anybody know if the kids need biometrics? Or is this just for photos?

They will also make another Infopass appointment to try to get an "emergency" AP (for court order to visit their mom in Canada).

See ya!!!

Good thing USCIS has the sense to schedule everyone on one date! YAY! Don;t know the answer for age requirements :crying:

Surely a court order is sufficient for emergency approval! I hope so!

I do like this thread... I am well aware it's for idle chit chat and don't look for it to provide any answers to questions I might have. For this reason I have not once gone into the April filers thread because it won't have anything for me in it. If people have questions or issues they want to discuss I would think a better place would be in a new thread where people can address it.
