Yay!case transfered to CSC yesterday!!

I posted somewhere else that it was today but the mail was sent today, the tranfer date is 11.Anyway, hoping we are lucky and so are you all fellow march filers!

Hi march guys

Just had my biometrics done. It was 15 minutes from parking the car to getting back to it I confirmed 2 things: USCIS omitted my middle name and didn't register my SSN. I saw in my record my SSN after I completed the form, but they didn't want to add my middle name. So, now I suppose I have to make an infopass appt. We are thinking about waiting a couple of weeks to give time to any RFE to come. Does anybody have the phone number to make the infopass appt?

Biometrics today. About 5 minutes for the biometrics itself and another 5 minutes to fill out the form and wait. Easy peasy! Now we wait some more!

You're welcome! :-) I like that website -- it lets you pick exactly which appointment time is convenient for you. If you can, my recommendation is to go really early in the morning... and bring something to read to while away the time as you're waiting...

ETA: Have those of you not transfered (as of yet anyway) checked any recent VJers going through you home office for Green card times? I saw one going through Houston who had the iterview about 3 months after mailing the package.

I'm very confused as to who gets asked for an interview and who gets transferred. I just looked at some people who are in Chicago and there's a couple who filed exactly a month before us who have an interview date for May 8th, and another who filed a month and a half before us who have their interview today. So...hmm. I'm interested to find out either way.

To California it went! While I was my Biometrics this morning in Helena, MT my case transferred to California. Okay I'm trying to keep up witheverything, but I am falling behind... so my case going to California means I won't have an interview or any RFE's?

It's hard to predict what it means. Most transfered cases get approved quickly and without an interview. Some transfered cases receive RFEs, are returned back to a local office or get stuck in name checks. Good luck!

There's a possibility you would have interview but majority sent their case to California without interview. That's a good sign I hope.

You can stil get RFE'd after being transfered AND a chance of being sent back to your local office too.

Mostly its backlogging that gets you transfered, sometimes some people get pulled for interview for "qaulity" purposes or because they think you need to be interviewed.

I'm jealous of those that are getting transferred. We got an RFE. I just want a USCIS break for awhile. I hope it comes soon enough. Good luck everyone.
