Heh, you are like me in that you go to the mail each day to see if the USCIS has left us a gift. I was not sure if mine was moving fast or not, i mean i hope it is so i can begin teaching- I find myself getting a little bit lazy as times go on...

I think the RFE might be tax related, i seem to see that a lot when people mention them....

I shall say a lil prayer for you in that the mail has something good tomorrow ^_^

Ohhh this is all so exciting that we may be able to work soon. I most definatly understand the laziness that you're referring to, especially because my husband works most every evening, so I don't even need to make him dinner most days. I think it's possible that I may get and RFE for taxes too... because when I sent off the application he didn't have his transcript from this year yet... so I just sent a copy of his filing pages and last years transcript... I hope it's sufficient and they don't impose a RFE on me too that I have to wait weeks for...... Good luck to all march filers... looks like they're giving out end of dec EAD's right now...

Yes, it is nice that we all should be able to work soon, hopefully quick enough that we wont get all too used to doing not working. Its been an interesting experience to say the least.....

That is the bad thing about filing this time of year, it seems we are in a tax black hole where they might or might not want 2007's forms....Gah to them..However, we are all nearing the end...

RFEs for the affidavit of support do seem to be pretty common no matter what you send in. I haven't noticed any pattern in why people gets the RFE. We sent in the tax transcripts for 2004 & 2005 but only had copy of the w-2 and 1040 for this year. Now that the refund has been deposited in the bank, I am going to call for a tax transcript for 2006 just incase we get the RFE too. I may get a new letter of employment from my employer with a more recent date also.

What did everyone send in for the tex records? We sent 2006 1040 and w-2 copy, tax transcripts for 2004 & 2005. A letter from my employer (dated last Dec (getting ready for the interview) and copies of my advice for payroll direct deposit for last 5 months. We are well over the 125% mark and i have no idea what else i could send!

I sent our tax returns for 2006 (which is actually a joint return), 2005 and 2004 including W-2's and my co-sponseres the same. She has about 10 X the amount needed though...so hopefullythey'll be happy with that though.

I made a boo boo on my paperwork though :crying:

I can not remember exactly what we sent, but tax returns for 06, employment letter, property assets were all in there....Lord knows what else they need....C'est la Vie...

Once we got the K-1 I felt a massive relief and no more was I a crazed person...

Now its started again, I'm excited about the mail, wondering,desperate to get home check mail/online banking! :lol:
