Biometrics are over (and were done in about 10 minutes!) but no touches since 3/23. I was hoping we'd have one today, but I suppose the day is only half over.

All went well, the guys there couldn't believe (like myself) that I'd been transfered to that office!

When I got home, had an RFE in the mail!!

But my online status did not tell me that and it still says no touches since 3/26, I wonder why the online system isn't working well for me?

The online system never worked for me during the fiance petition stage. After calling, CSC manually updated my status. You might want to call and get it back on track since you are still waiting for more information to come that way.

I called the CSC number and hit all the prompts regarding the RFE. Another VJer had posted that this prompt reaches CSC itself rather than a set of operators answering at a phone bank.

Well, I'm mad at the online status cause I was hoping it would help me with touches and st uff, oh well.

Anyway, the RFE was for something I expected. When I did my mother in laws I-864 I forgot to put her social on it! I only realised when I looked at the copy AFTER I sent it in. The social is on her tax returns with it but ah well, I knew it was coming.

The RFE says missing/incomplete forms for I-864 . Dork

Today when I had my biometrics done, I was back in the office talking to the guys and I had noticed this guy back up to the counter again and again and he was not happy. Apparently on some of his paperwork they had put his name down wrong. His name was Enrico and they had it down as - EnRICE!

I did I didnt have a RFE. But read here that is the easiest way to reach someone at CSC in the actualy CSC offices. She hit all the right buttons and within a couple of hours my case was updated online to match my status. Even sent emails to update me though the NOA2 was already in the mail and the petition at NVC.

hmmm thats interesting. I guess the rest of us are all just SOL. My online status just says *this interview has been descheduled*. We already had ours.

RFE mailed on March 26

RFE received March 31

RFE returned April 9 (we were on vacation when it arrived)

They wanted my taxes again because I wrote self employed but did not file self employment taxes because I just became self employed this year. I wrote a letter to them explaining I was not self employed in 2006 along with another copy of my taxes. Hopefully it's good enough.

I am glad that I just got my NOA1 today. It's the start of the processing now.
