I'm thinking that at this stage, no touches are a good sign that our application looks good. Maybe it's wishful thinking?

Monday morning all the responses to the RFE i got shall be sent out and they can keep on processing it.

Its weird, i seem to have had about 7 touches since they recieved my case on the 7th of March....They either love me or hate me....

No news, but I realized I sent something wrong in the AOS packet. :\ I haven't received an RFE yet, so maybe they'll accept it. Do people generally get their RFEs quite early? Before Biometrics?

Otherwise, hubby has his Biometrics appointment on Friday. We're hoping that will help speed things along even quicker.

I sent my package in

the Received date is March 18th

My NOA date is March 23rd

I had to call b/c they spelt my first name wrong.. haha!

It is hard to say but an RFE should be there within a couple of weeks....

Ok. I'll just have to wait it out and see if they want me to fix it. It was the vaccination supplement - his civil surgeon had entered his vaccination information on the I-693a personally and we thought that would be okay. From the sounds of it, a US civil surgeon had to do this and keep it in a sealed envelope, though it wasn't explicitly stated in the I-485 instructions...just that the vaccination supplement had to be included.

Soooo...they may take it or not. I just hope they don't deny it. :\

I cant imagine that they will deny it, but its probable that an RFE might arrive. You can still process fast though, so good luck....

My middle name was misspelled... but I was preparing a letter + supporting documentation to send...

Ok.. I have a question since we are on the RFE thing ...

A poster asked if we usually get RFEs before or after Biometrics. MY question is this .... when can you consider yourself clear of RFEs? Not sure if I'm being clear, but say you go 2 months with no RFE - can you consider yourself free and clear? Or .. have they been known to drop on your head like a tonne of bricks when you least expect it?

With the RFE thing, I don't know anything for sure but I would imagine that it doesnt matter how long its been, you could be at risk of RFE cause you could be sitting on someones desk for AGES then get an RFE months down the line.

I agree, as much as we would like to believe that a few clear weeks could mean we are free of them, a RFE could crop up until the point we are approved...............

In saying that, they should receive my response to the RFE they sent me in a day or two, and i hope there are no more to come....

Just a logical guess- perhaps some RFEs come early for obvious missing documentation or clarification of information and then when they are ready to sit down and ajudicate the case and they look closer at the info they can then ask for more ?
