That's what London specifically says so yes, get one. They don't always ask for it.

Wait! it's only after your petition has expired. That's four months after NOA2 date. You're okay. Was confused by your "priority date" term.

My confusion of priority date vs expiration date. You get four months past the priority date.

Easiest explanation--On the NOA2 there is a petition expiration date. If you interview after that date you are asked to bring a new letter from the petitioner. Your interview is June and well before you would bring a new letter of intent.

thank you! I just got confused when I saw it and didn't really compute what it meant. maybe I should sleep before reading paperwork next time!! only thing left to do now is photocopy things for interview.

Okay question for you. Did you get a letter of instruction from London? I'm trying to figure out if they are still sending those. The new instructions say something like when you are informed by the NVC that your petition has gone to the embassy, you may begin. The NVC does send a letter to the petitioner and I was wondering if London would still send the instruction letter to the beneficiary. Sounds like what you got. Yes?

I got a letter with my approved petition on yes. It had the whole I-129f with a stamp at the top saying it was approved. Then a letter saying that they had my case at London. I did rush though to my medical so I don't know if they still send packet 3 by post or not. I will let you know if they do. I then actually read the paperwork on my I-129f this morning and it does say that I'm good until August 17th or something like that. If I'd of read though it all I'd of been fine, but I was so tired when I got back from the medical that I should have set it down to read today, instead of when I was still tired.
