- Bank statement showing joint account ownership

- Copy of birth certificate of our son

- Pictures of us together with our son and other friends and relatives for the past 2 years

- Copy of my wife's military dependent ID card

- Copy of my military dependency application/Emergency contact information

what about joint insurance ( health, car, life), utility bills (electricity, cable, Internet, water, sewage, garbage), also consider adding wills, medical power of attorney. These are also additional financials that can strengthen your application package.

Then you have a pretty solid package then. USCIS places a lot of emphasis when adjudicating on joint financial liabilities which you seem to cover a lot of. You should be good.

Not sure if it is just a typo - but you need bank STATEMENTS from the time you married. Otherwise, your list looks good!

Do you have anything (Life Insurance, 401K etc.) that shows the spouse as beneficiary? Also, Tax Transcripts that you can get from IRS for free are better to submit than the actual return. Do you have any Advanced Health Care Directive, Wills etc.? Affidavits from people who know both of you (friends, coworkers, family) are good, too.

Second vote for tax transcripts rather than returns as the latter don't provide proof you actually filed and got processed - just completed the return. Ours took about 7-10 days to get. You can order them online.

Remember, this evidence needs to prove the past two years of your marriage. This means you need bank statementS, insurance policieS etc. dating back the past two years. More than just one slip, basically. Auto insurance is every six months, for example, so you should have 4 verifications of insurance.

I had to contact an insurance agent to be able to access the two years of auto insurance declarations, my old apartment complex leasing office to get copies of the old leases etc.
