Yes, it will be an issue. Not an automatic denial, but you are going through one of the most difficult embassies to get approved in, and you have two red flags already- only one meeting, and marriage on first meeting. Can your wife be there for the interview?

Are there any other red flags, such as age or religious differences, previous immigration cases?

I agree with Penguin. Ghana is extremely difficult to get approved.

6 months of knowing each other and getting married on first meeting is a huge red flag.

Be prepared!

I have a hard time imagining how to prove that it is a bona fide marriage. Seems like a fiance visa might have been a better route.

Ghana is a high fraud country and the CO's at the Embassy are very difficult. One visit and then marriage it is a red flag but you never know. I do wish you the best of luck on your journey.

K1 through ghana are rarely granted, which is probably why marriage happened so quickly.

Is she also Ghanaian?

How many months was she in Ghana?

How much older are you?

There are always options.

Yes, several more visits, and her being there for the interview, would definitely help.
