So I'm new to this been reading on the forum about how to petition for my fiancee getting a K1 visa.

Back in February of this year I met my fiancee in person in the Phillippines. I foolishly left the airline stubs with her as a momento I suppose.

So my question is to use them as proof would she have to mail them here or would she be able scan and email them?

I have the email comfirmation as well, but I wished i kept them.

I'd imagine that a scan of them would be sufficient. As long as whomever is going to the interview has the originals, but even then it's not required. You'll have the emails, and a copy of them so that's more than enough to prove your flight details.

I have the itnerary from my email to copy, copied the passport, and have a picture of the said boarding passes and printed off at walgreens from a photo my fiancée sent.

That will be fine?

That's great thx! Just making sure no telling how much they scrutinize over this stuff.

Thx everyone! :)

You should be good. We never kept boarding passes (to be honest, to begin with we didn't even think about keeping them). We printed out all the emails we had - flight bookings, hotel bookings, car rentals etc and put all the ones for each trip we did together then added whatever photographs we had - there was something from every trip that had enough background in the shot to show where we were...purely by chance. One copy of everything was sent in with the initial package, and I had a second copy of everything to take to the interview. We had done a number of trips and they seemed happy with that, but didn't ask many questions about it apart from asking me to list some of the places we'd been to.

I would think that either is fine to be honest - as long as they can see something as proof. We just went with what we had available at the time - I know other people keep boarding passes to use as evidence. In most cases, they're not looking for a reason to deny, they're looking for proof of a reason to approve so it's likely that they're fairly flexible with evidence as long as you have something. :)

I wasn't disputing anything you said. I was merely saying what *I* did was acceptable, adding to the posts that OP is fine submitting copies. I have actually read somewhere on here that email itineraries are not proof you got on the plane.

No worries - I know you weren't. I was agreeing with you that whatever the OP has is likely going to be just fine since the majority of cases do seem to be approved as long as some evidence is provided. :)
