Question's about filing for k1 for French Citizen?

Hey guys I originally posted this in the k1 section, but was advised maybe the French country forum would be more helpful.. I hope this is where they were talking about posting this lol.

I'm currently waiting for my NOA2. I just lost my job recently and have been stressing out. I want to know what my options are from here on out - because I wasn't expecting this. :\

I feel like the government may use similar standards that a bank uses when trying to obtain a loan. Except the bank uses debt-to-income ratio and the government seems to be using their poverty guidelines.

So I get another job (I was working two jobs as it was, so I still have my second job), how much do I need to be making in order to petition for my fiance? I know it's around 22,000 and honestly, my fiance and I keep seeing different numbers from different sources. But also.. CAN they deny you even if you're making the adequate amount? Can an officer decide.. "Hey.. you're only 1,000$ over.. I don't feel comfortable with approving you." Also.. is it accurate that all I need is pay stubs and an employee letter stating I'm in good standing? And.. do they have a time limit as to how long you should have been working at your position?

I also may have a co sponsor. My co sponsor would be my cousin, I feel badly having to ask her and want to know if there's a lot of work she would have to do to be my co sponsor? Is it just one document she would need to fill out? Or is there a lot for her to do as well.

K1 I 134 is usually pretty relaxed compared to the I 864. Certainly is in London, so I sort of assume it would be in Paris.

When you say relaxed.. Do you mean it should be okay if I make $20,000 a year and have only had a position for a month when filing?
