Hello There,

I am an Oct 2015 i751 filer. I recently moved and I'm trying to change my address on USCIS website, but for some reason the USCIS website comes back and says that the Receipt number is not associated with the form i751. While changing address, i select the form i751 and enter the receipt number that starts with EACXXXXXXXXXX.

There are 2 EAC numbers that are listed on my i797C, Notice of Action document that was sent to me for Biometrics and I've tried both of them. None of them is allowed for me the change/update the address.

How do I change my address

Please advise.

Regards,

This is what USCIS says:

  • Step1: File Form AR-11 (online OR by mail),
    AND
  • Step 2: Change your address on any pending or recently approved applications or petitions, online OR by phone at 1-800-375-5283. For TTY (deaf or hard of hearing) call: 1-800-767-1833.

I hope you completed Step 1. Since online option for Step 2 didn't work for you, you might wanna give them a call.

I believe you can call the customer service and have them do it for you over the phone. Once AR-11 is submitted they should give you a receipt number that starts with COAxxxx and later the service center sends an email with your receipt number on it that they have your address change in place.
