nope. don't waste your money and applying for a B2. wait till the divorce is final and then file for K1 or spouse visa. but mind you, by then he mind found another girl around the corner of a street. If he could leave his married wife for a random stranger found on the internet, he could leave you for somebody else in a heart beat.

Thats mean :wow:

Since you cannot use your VWP privileges anymore, it's up to you if you want to attempt to try for a visit visa. I'd suggest that the chances are fairly slim, but the filing fee is cheap.. and if denied.. well you're right back into the same boat you are currently in (no better and no worse). Keep in mind however, that if granted such a visa only gets you to the POE.. and it's up to the CBP to decide to let you in again just like before. There should be no problem with filing for a K1 though, when the divorce is complete, as long as he has all his paperwork in order to show evidence of that divorce in the application. If it were me, I'd think of the future and take the opportunity to just stay in your country, and save up - which would leave you in a better position financially for when you can apply for a K1.

We did not meet over the internet, but in person and then we kept talking onlin. After spending all that time with him, I am pretty certain of our relationship and how much money he spent on the divorce while he could have just as easily not divorce at all. Frankly, I think it is quite rude to assume this when you know nothing about our relationship.

But thanks for the insight :)

I am sorry, I wasn't trying to be rude but just to remind you not to fall for somebody who isn't worth your time and youth.

Ladies ALWAYS assume they are special and different, but no one is an exception when it comes dealing with unfaithful men.

And someone will ALWAYS assume that ladies are naive little creatures that need to be warned against evil cheating men. :D Trust me, I know what I am doing when I am betting on this horse. ;)

Hehe, I did have a fair share of love blindness in my life :D That one was not a cheater when I met him, nor was he married. But he was a cheater when i left him. ;)

Anyhow, if I was looking for relationship advice, I would go to a women's magazine column, or a blog. :)

Yup, though not for as long and as much as I could visit him in the US, due to business. We already planned for him to come here at the beginning of July for about 12 days.

And I assume that would be one of the arguments against the visa, too - why doesn't he visit me.

I have seen more men post on here about having been played by women than I have seen vice versa.

Not sure why you seem to think it's "ladies" who are "always" naive about these sort of things.

Oh good! Wish I'd seen that! I'm married to someone who spent time in San Quentin prison in the 1990s. They would have had a field day with me!

To get back to the OP, I am aware that $2000 is a lot more there than here or the USA in real terms but it's not just the embassy in Prague you need to convince when you apply for a B2. You still have to convince the CBP officer at the airport. And he will likely think that $2000 isn't enough for a 70-day stay. Just saying...

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath
