You should've already paid for the visa before the interview (that's what the IV fee is for), so the only thing after approval that you would have to pay for is the $165 for USCIS ELIS. That can be paid for either before or after entry into the U.S. so you can get your green card.

i looked at the spreadsheet and the average is 32.5 but I dont see alot of Bosnia on there

I hope that is true... Which means I would get news next week! NVC says 42 days but people have been getting CC in 30 days.

So I have been reading this pretty closely. I just got my NOA2 from potomac on thursday or wednesday. your thread is helping me with questions of mine. I guess I am keeping track of how quickly NVC moves.

Here's my question, how long should I wait before my NOA2 is sent to NVC? a week or 2 weeks? Then after that how long should I wait to have a case assigned? Should I call them? if yes then when?

BUT- everyone is different. They send the petitions through mail in bulk from USCIS to NVC... they aren't sent out individually. Usually you should start calling after a week or 2 from your notice date on your NOA2 and inquiring if they have received the case yet. There can be a possibility yours gets there sooner than mine, as I've seen other members get there's received within 7-10 days etc.

Hey, I haven't been able to get in contact with a tier 2 officer at USCIS and I'm out of the country visiting my fiancée at the moment so it's kinda hard.

BUT, another VJ member who was approved about a day after me was told their case was sent June 24th from USCIS so I'm hoping mine is in the same box as theirs. I'm not super worried (just yet) because a lot of VJ members with the same approval date as me or around the same time haven't had their case received yet at NVC. So I'm trying to stay hopeful.
