the CC?

The scan date is when NVC received and scanned your documents. CC means case complete.

I read this on a website:

The first status for every case is “AT NVC”. You can ignore the text on the case – the case has not been passed to NVC. What this status means is that the case is in one of the following situations.

1. The case is not yet current.
2. The case is current, BUT the DS260 has not be submitted at all, or it was submitted but not processed yet – and therefore not scheduled.
3. The case is current, the form is processed, but it is waiting to be scheduled (typically because the cases have not yet been sent to the embassies yet).

“In Transit”

This status is shown for a brief period when KCC has scheduled the interview, and transferred the case to the embassy. However, the embassy has not yet updated CEAC to acknowledge they have received the case.

“READY”

This is the next status after in transit. It means the case has arrived at the embassy for interview. Sometimes a case will continue to show ready even after the interview.

“Issued”

Pretty obviously – this is the status we all want to see! The interview took place, was successful and the visa has been approved/issued.

you mean you got letter from USCIS saying they sent documents to NVC / not really approved the whold proces

only approved that you had efficent documents to go on with the process

approval is final at interview

NVC will want documents and translations from certifed translator / both in native language attached to translation

you will get a check list telling what they require / if NVC has a valid email ID, it is faster than waiting for a posted letter

they wil requre criminal investigation reports, and can request any others that are questionable

our case was a high fraud country so we had to send originals of all, other countries they accept copies

read and follow directions once you recieve the notice

when you send in any documents, put the new case number (assigened by NVC ) on upper right hand corner of each and every page along with both DOB's

I did all of that im waiting for CC

so I paid all my fees so now just waiting 15 days on friday nothing yet so thinking that

everything is alright by now

You should've already paid for the visa before the interview (that's what the IV fee is for), so the only thing after approval that you would have to pay for is the $165 for USCIS ELIS. That can be paid for either before or after entry into the U.S. so you can get your green card.

When you log into CEAC, right now you should see under AOS fee & IV fee "PAID" and under IV application "COMPLETED." When those three suddenly change into "N/A" it means your case has been completed, so you can call NVC for confirmation. I've been on the look out for mine since I sent my documents... I log in everyday just to check hehe.

Bosna, I just wanted to correct what I said. If just the AOS fee changes from "PAID" to "N/A" then you have a case complete. It should look like this:
