The interview depends on how fast the NVC is able to review and processes the case, and also on openings in the US embassy... I'm hoping by the end of August or early September my husband will be able to have an interview. My husband hasn't had his medical yet because we don't have an interview yet... I don't know how it is for your country but for the Philippines I read that they suggest you don't go for a medical until you have an interview date set.

oh ok what does it say for your embassy how long of a wait is it for the interview for mine it says from 1 week to 1 month

If we're lucky within a month... but I have seen those who had to wait up to 3 months for an interview :(:unsure:

Since you said you basically have all your papers ready to be sent out, I suggest once you get your welcome letter and invoice you immediately pay for the AOS and fill out the DS-261. Then call NVC to review the DS-261 so your invoice for the IV fee will be unlocked. You can get everything done in a week. The faster you get the fees paid and get the AOS & IV packages sent out, the less time for you to wait. But make sure you fill out the DS-260 as soon as it's unlocked because even if you paid the fees the NVC won't review your case until that is completely filled out and submitted.

    6/7/2016 Didn’t get case number so case went to supervisor look *****(new time frame is 2 weeks to get your case and invoice number form NVC.)
