i called and they told me it might be a delay today is 2 weeks since they got my case

ill call all this week to ask

I don't think it's necessary to call everyday, especially since technically they are still within the 42 day limit that they said they would need to have a case number... maybe calling once or twice a week will suffice. Being patient is really all we can do. I understand your eagerness though. I wish time would go by a little faster to make this whole process more bearable :clock:

I know they told me now its like 2 weeks to get the case number yesterday was my 2 weeks and they still havent put it in the system

its hard you got your welcome letter how does it look and also

did you receive any emails from them after you have got your case number and invoice

I haven't received any emails other than the welcome letter and invoice for AOS and IV fee. My welcome letter looked like this:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received the immigrant visa petition you filed for (my husband) from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. We will work with you to complete your relative's immigrant visa case and schedule their visa interview.

Note: Keep this letter in a safe place. You will need the information and attachments during the application process.

omg wow how long did you wait since you paid everything do you have an interview already

I just sent the AOS & IV packages today. The average waiting time for a case complete seems to be 30-32 days after NVC receives the AOS & IV packages, so I still have a long way to go before an interview is scheduled. I've read about people getting case complete as quickly as 10 days, but I don't want to get my hopes up for that. It's just more waiting at this point... :clock:

how long does it take for NVC to send out the welcome letter after nvc case number thanks guys

I'm glad you finally got your case number! If they don't send you a welcome letter by tonight, you'll definitely have one tomorrow
