You're going to get an email/letter telling you what to do (pay fees,submit application online, financial documents,etc.). You can start finishing your affidavit of support now so its ready to send out

P.D: Feb 29, 2016.

NOA 2: May 12, 2016

Text to USCIS packet sent to NVC: May 17, 2016.

Our case was received by NVC on May 9, still no case number or IIN. Someone else with a received date of May 16 already has their case number and IIN. So in short, anywhere between a few days and three weeks maybe?! :-(

Once they tell you when your interview is, then your husband should do his medical. :) Once everything is paid and completed, the NVC could take anywhere from 30 days or more to give you a case complete. Once they do that, you'll eventually get an email that says you are scheduled for an interview. When you get that email, he can do his medical. My timeline under my post is an example where the NVC was actually fast but it depends on how hard they work and hopefully there aren't a lot of US holidays while they process your case lol Edited by MrsAwakened

Yes, the letter is through email. You print it off and take it with you to the medical exam and then to the interview. :)

Yes, you make your own appointment with the approved doctors on the website I gave you (go to the drop down list and find

Sarajevo).

2 weeks waiting for case number and still nothing

I had to wait 3wks from my NOA2 to get my case number. I called them after waiting 2wks and the lady told me they received my case but they didn't put it into the system yet, and that I would have to wait up to 6wks for a case number. A week after that, I got a "Welcome" email and the invoice for AOS. You can give NVC a call and ask if they have your case number ready because sometimes they don't send an e-mail :unsure:
