Hello,

Me and my Fiancee are having some problems with filling out the G-325a and I was hoping someone on here could assist. I keep finding conflicting results when I search myself so I could use some clarification.

1. Down toward the bottom it says "This form is submitted in connection with an application for:", I know I need to check the other box but I'm unsure as to what I put in it. Some help sites say I should put "In support of K1 visa" while my fiancee puts in "K-1 Visa". Well there is not enough room in that tiny box for me to type that. Other places will say put I-129F in the box. So I just want to know what is the proper acceptable thing to put in there.

2. My fiancee's place of work has far too big of a name and address to put in the box. Is it acceptable for her to put in the box "See attachment" and then staple a piece of paper to the form giving the detailed information on her work?

3. Lastly, my fiancee is from the Philippines and she says that they have both a permanent residence and a current residence there. So her permanent residence is with her parent and she does go home frequently but her current address is at her dorm where she spends most of her time due to work. Also during our process there is a possibility that she will just go back home to stay. So I was wondering, would it be wise to include in an attachment a more detailed list of places she has lived giving her permanent address and current address, or should she just put her parents home as her present address at the top and put her dorm up to the current month?

Any help is appreciated, thank you for your time.

Alright, I read it over again. Assuming it is the proper way then an attachment is acceptable and I-129F is what should be put in the other box. However, it does not answer my concerns about the permanent and current address situation. I'm not sure how big of a deal that will be to put in properly so long as all addresses are accounted for to the best of her ability.

- The box you check and type or write I-129f

-For work address, if she had one or two jobs to show, then you still have room below to use or you can attach another supplement sheet to it.

-For her address...you want to be sure information you are providing are true. First of all, how far her parents from her work? If near or within an hour or so, she can use her parents address...but, if she is working in one place and her parents living in the province four or five hours away, then I suggest you DO NOT use and just use her address where she is now...Remember, changing address later on is not a big deal, it can be done during the process. You just want to be sure information on the petition are accurate and true as on that moment.

Thank you very much for your help. Without traffic It would be about a half hour drive for her to get home but given public transport and traffic it can take up to 3 hours for her to get there. I would say the average trip takes about 2. Given this would you think it would be safe for her to use her parents address as her current address?

Then yes, I would use her parents address. People in the Philippines are know to travel long distance to get to work. So two hours would be just fine. I think it would be even safer to receive any communications from the Embassy using her parents. If the parents were living really far away like in another province or island, then I would not use their address. But in her case, I think she is fine with her parents.

Btw, my former filipina gf used to travel 2.5 hours one way each day to get to work taking tricycles, jeepnyes and buses.

They are in a different province, she works in Manila and they are in Rizal but the overall total distance is not that much on a map. Coming from the states it just seems crazy how far they will travel just for work. Though that's why she mainly will stay at her dorm in Manila. Anyway, thank you very much for all your help, I really appreciate it and you've provided a lot of good advice.
