Does anybody know of a trust-worthy forum that is about immigration to Canada? Google suggests a bunch of options, but I'm not sure which are the better ones?

Here are two that have current daily postings.

Thanks Teddy, I'll check those out!

Does this mean I can ask Canadian visa related questions here?

You're welcome.

You will have better luck with Canadian immigration questions on those two sites I gave you. This board is for folks immigrating to the US.

Like Teddy said you would have better luck over there. I moved you here because I knew someone would have the links to the sites you are looking for.

But the topic does come up and others have shared their experience so you can do an advance search to find similar threads.

In fact I did some research before posting, and found related questions to my issue on the web, but because my case is quite particular (see here if interested) I did not find a satisfying answer.

But yeah anyways, thank you for moving my post and for the advice! :)

So as a follow up, my question was about whether an internship counts as work experience for immigration purposes to Canada. The answer was if the internship took place in Canada and was part of an education program, it does not count. If the internship happened in a foreign country (other than Canada) and was paid and full time, even if it gets used for studying purposes, it does count as work experience. Further details here.

Hope this helps someone!
