I have a IR1 visa and i traveled to the us april 10th and before i got my green card i have to travel back to egypt and it was may 3 ,, now i'm asking can i travel back to the us ??? My visa still valid for another 4 mothes ,, is there is any trouble waiting for me there ??? I heard that this visa is only once to use .

You were give a temporary green stamp (551 stamp). So no issue.

Just FYI. The Visa that got you in the US is voided soon as you got thrugh POE.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

March 26, 2009: We become a couple!
September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!
June 21, 2010: Engaged!!!
September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Once you have a green card you can travel but can't stay more than 12 months.

Really you should be in the USA more than out of it. Any stay over a year you should be getting a re-entry permit plus evidence you have not abandoned your residency.

Just FYI. The Visa that got you in the US is voided soon as you got thrugh POE.

This is the correct answer. You no longer have a valid visa, you have a green card, even if you don't yet have a plastic one. Some people have reported trouble with airline staff not understanding the temporary I551 however. It may help to take a copy of page 40 of the attached manual, which the airline should also have somewhere to cross reference. https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/documents/carrier_info_guide_3.pdf
