Has anyone received packet 3 from US Embassy for k1 visa? I am wondering if someone can post the LATEST forms and documents requested...I know the Embassy portal Information does not specify, not that I have read. I wonder if Police clearance and all that need to be submitted directly to the US Embassy and they will not be accepted if brought in with applicant (beneficiary)

If someone can post what the latest requirements the embassy sent them, please.

This is related to Singapore US Embassy and Philippines and SG Police clearance

I saw that thread before and it is from Nov 2013 and some of what is mentioned on this thread is not the same on the Embassy Information portal new updates. My main concern is, do they still require NBI Police certificate from the Philippines and Singapore to be sent directly to the US Embassy or that has changed to where my fiance can just bring them with her.

I asked my fiance to call the embassy and inquire but if someone have an answer would be great.

Hi!

Yes you need to get NBI Clearance from Philippines and Certificate of Clearance from Singapore and NO, it will not be sent direct to the Embassy. You will bring this with you during the interview.

The one that will be sent directly to the embassy is the CENOMAR from NSO.

The packet 3 contains the list of what you need to prepare for the interview and the only thing you need to send back to the Embassy is the copy of the receipt of D160 confirmation page, Payment receipt and 1 page of the packet 3 that you need to sign.

I am currently waiting for my Packet 4 (Appointment date) Wish me luck!! :)

Thank you for the good info J178...

My fiance was never married and she obtained a copy of the Certificate of no marriage, so it will not be accepted if she brings with her, it has to be sent directly to the embassy? If so, where and how would it be addressed to the embassy?

Also if you don't mind me asking, did you call NVC for case number after two weeks and what number did you call and info they ask for beside name(s) and NOA1 number? Where you able to to fill out DS-160 the minute you received the case number or waited until the embassy received it?

Thanks!

Yes it has to be delivered directly to the Embassy by NSO. It is all in their website https://www.ecensus.com.ph/Default.aspx

Your fiance also need to get the Certificate of No Marriage here in Singapore and that is the one that she will bring in the interview.

For the case number, yes just keep calling the NVC for the case number (They also ask for the date of when you receive the approval, beneficiary's details)

I paid and did my D160 when I received my Packet 3 (instructions are all there).

I suggest, while waiting for your case number, prepare your papers so once you receive your packet3, you can send it back to the embassy asap.

The checklist from this link are pretty helpful http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/463628-singapore-k1s/page-1

Then once you got your case number, you can check the status from this link https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

You'll see updates if its in transit to your consulate or received etc

NVC normally say to call back in 70 days or so but just keep calling and they will eventually give you the case number.
