Filing I-751 Question

It took us almost two years to receive conditional GC, so I really did not save documents like I should in 2013. I do have some from June - December 2013 but not for every month. How can I explain missing bank statements, and utility bills for the earlier part of 2013?

Here is my current list of items that I plan to send

Copy of Permanent Resident Card

Copies of Drivers’ License with joint address for both (including expired licenses)

Copy of Deed to joint residence

Copies of Real Estate Property Tax Bill Paid Receipt 2013, 2014, 2015

Copies of Homeowner’s Insurance policy of joint residence 2014, 2015, 2016

Copy of Joint Title to new vehicle purchase 2014

Copies of bi-yearly joint car insurance policies 2014, 2015, 2016

Copies of joint checking and savings account statements 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016

Copies of joint tax return transcripts 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015

Copies of Life insurance policies naming each as beneficiary

Copies of Retirement benefits naming each as beneficiary

Copies of Medical/Mental Health Power of Attorney documents

Copies of Monthly/Quarterly utility bills (gas, electric, sewer, trash, alarm) 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016

Copy of Transportation Security Administration Pre-Check Approval

Copy of Jamaica Passport Renewal Application

Copies of Flight Itineraries, Hotel Room receipts, venue tickets 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016

Talk to your bank about getting back statements. They should be able to do it - though they might charge you for it. Not sure about the utility companies. If you cannot locate copies, then just mention that in your cover letter - and explain that you have included all the statements that you DO have.

Years ago we were able to get old record from our utility co. for a mtge co (poof of good payment)

As you're told request missing dates from your bank, you're good to go

To update, got copies of bank statements, no such luck on utilities.
