Hello VJ family,

I will be going for interview in Accra next month and I have a few questions I need help with.

1. How long will it for the medical examination to get to the embassy and the cost?

2. My wife has a life insurance of which I'm listed as a dependent and she is five months pregnant, can I add both to my evidence?

3. How long should I expect to stay in Ghana? I live in Europe and currently going home purposely for this visa interview.

Thank you all

I don't know how much the medical cost now but I am thinking around 10 million old cedes and it takes about 3-4 weeks for them to get it. Yes add that to your evidence. I will say if you want to be there through out the whole interview journey be prepared to stay two months at most. Because after approval or might take a week or so to get passport in hand. I hope others who have been there recently can give the right amount n time to stay.

Congrats on getting to the interview phase!

There are two approved locations for your wife to get her medical exam, Akai House Clinic and Holy Trinity Medical Center. The medical exam will cost around $400, but could vary based on if your wife needs vaccines. When my husband (fiancé at the time) went for his exam it took about a week to get the results back. With her interview scheduled in about a month, she should schedule an appointment soon incase there is difficulty getting in or takes awhile to get the results back.

Hello Bbm. My husband had his medical done at Holy Trinity a few weeks ago and paid 1200 ghc. You will pick up the results a week after you receive the exam and give them to the people at the embassy unopened.

Yes, I think you should add both to your evidence. And I'm not sure because my husband has not had his interview yet but I believe you will receive the visa after approved in 3-5 days.
