Dear All,

I have some questions regarding WORK VISA if you don't mind :

  • Is it even possible to find a job on-line in USA for a Bachelor degree holders with 3 years experience?
  • is there any preference of Indians over other nationalities to get work visa in the USA (I'm asking this because most of topic I've found online about this subject are written by Indians).
  • I read that employee has to prove he didn't find any American to do the same job in order to start the complicated process to recruit a foreign, it does seem unlikely to find someone who is willing to go through all the bureaucracy paper work. right ?

If any other informations about the above subject , feel free to discuss

Best regards

1. Yes-ish, depends on your field of work and what type of experience you have.

2. No, but India is a big country and many there have good English, which helps with finding work. Also, many US companies have subsidiaries there so the Indians are more likely to have relevant work experience.

3. No, the employer has to do that; the employer is the one who arranges for the visa, you just show up to the interview. And, yes, the visa process is expensive (also paid by employer), because the US wants to employ US based workers where possible.

Try the cruise companies like Carnival / they hire many foreigners as they work long hours and speak several languages

the companies work mainly out of Florida

they fly you to the ship and when your contract is up, they will fly you home

contracts run 6 to 8 to 9 months / you have a month or 2 off and then a new contract

you can do this online

good luck
