So we got a notice saying our k2 ead petition was terminated because he no longer has a pending I-485 since he got approved (we already have our green cards in hand) which i think its retarded. The notice says if we want to file a motion we must fill out I-290B form and send it out with a fee... How do we handle this? We needed his ead to get an ssn for him so we could claim him as a dependant on our next taxes.

Can anyone please guide us on the right direction?

No, it's correct. If you are a permanent resident you don't need (or qualify for) EAD and the EAD application will be denied if it's still pending.

Permanent resident status already gives you all that EAD does and more. Why didn't you apply for the SSN with his green card?

Before you start calling things retarded, you should learn a few things.

USCIS did the correct thing in terminating the EAD application once the green card was issued. The green card has work authorization baked into it so there is no need for an EAD. Use his green card to get his SSN.

Thats why i was actually asking how to proceed with this since i was never explained, sorry if you got offended. Thanks for your replies

Nothing will be explained to you. This is DIY. You have to do your own research. Patience when you don't understand what's going on and come here to ask questions. The process can be confusing and frustrating but is easily manageable.

Sorry for any offense but I live with a teenager. You would not believe how many times he calls things stupid or retarded when he doesn't understand things.
