HEP A/B Vaccination

Hello all,

I have a question about the Hep A/B vaccination my Wife will receive during her medical at St. Luke's prier to her interview in Manila...

Here in the states these are multiple shots given over a 6 month period. So does that mean she will have to wait the six months to complete the shots prier to her interview or will she receive an initial shot and then finish state side? Any advice/info would be appreciated.

Thank You, Brian

I don't think it's required for an adult over 18. I had the same issue did the vaccin before checking and the doctor at the medical told me it wasn't necessary.

Vaccination are country specific and it's listed on both the NVC's and St. Luke's Medical Center web site as a required vaccination for immigration to the US....

Ok thank you...I was just worried it would be an additional wait.

they usually give 3-4 shots:

MMR

Tdap

Varicella (if you haven't had or can't show a scar from chickenpox)

Recently, they added a vaccine for Influenza, but the doctor said it will only be available for a time so we got lucky.

MMR

Tdap

Varicella

Influenza (in season)

I showed proof of my Hep A and Hep B immunity and it was still marked down and not age appropriate on my medical sheet.
