I have a very urgent question. . Please help me..My fiance sent me the I-134 form and he marked the area "do not intend to support....." under item number 11 of the form... Is this alright for a K1 visa? Based on the sample form here, under item 11 of I-134, its NA for KI visa...Why so? Please please help coz my interview is just 4 days from now...A million thanks for the merciful and helpful soul who will reply to this post!

As far as I know, he has to mark " I intend"..he has to make clear, that he will always support you financially. We put in the fee space, that hw will" room and board weekly for the entire time in which we are a married couple for the years that may follow until we seperate or upon death".

At least ,that is what we marked and wrote in our K1

I hope I was able to help you out a little bit.

The I-134 is used for many types of Visa Petitions, and question 11 doesn't really apply for the K-1, as you two intend to get married. Did he write the same thing in the comments as the samples, although in the samples they did not check either box.

I just find it curious that someone else posted this same question about a month ago, and saying that their interview was in a couple of days.

Correct, the I-134 is used for other non-immigrant visa types like work, and student, so question applies to those types, it does not apply to K-Visas. On the lines below question put "N/A ( K1 visa process for permanent residence )" Since there are no specific contributions you could check "Do Not Intend..." or just leave them both unchecked it does not matter since it does not apply in the case of K-visas.
