I just noticed that someone had his/her petition approved for NOA2 in 42 days from Rio , Brasil...is it possible?

I wonder if the political unrest will have any help in some Brazilian petitions being approved quickly. I am sure that some of our more experienced posters will shoot this idea down with something concrete.

I had my process expedited without asking for it.

I'm from Brazil.

NVC sent my paperwork directly to the embassy.

Let's see what happens after...

The situation here is nothing good... Political problems, huge inflation, Zika, h1n1...

Good luck and hope all goes fast and well for you guys! Maybe this is why they are expediting visa's from Brasil.

I do know someone who personally had only 93 days between her Initial I-129F Mailing to her partner's interview last year (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). She was quite diligent with her follow-up at every step along the way & she proactively had paperwork prepared in advance to reduce delays between steps, etc. However, she did not have it specifically expedited.

Good Luck
