CSC Processing times slowing down?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying not to obsessively watch as the processing times at CSC for K1 visas seems to be growing longer and longer. At the time of my filing, it seemed as though things were moving quickly. However, now when I look at the USCIS website, it says that CSC's last processed case was from Nov 15, 2015.

I've also noticed that my projected timeline on here gets extended a little bit almost every day. I know it isn't time yet for my NOA2 to be issued; I'm just hoping that this doesn't become a situation similar to what happened at the TSC (where people were waiting for 2 years because of the backlog)... :/

Anybody have experiences or thoughts from 2016 filings to share?

If you are aware of the situation that used to be at TSC, then it actually has a lot to do with why CSC may be slowing down a little. Early last year TSC stopped processing all new applications, making CSC the only service center handling K1 cases. Couple that with probable additional checks since the SB shooting (the persons in question were actually passed through CSC), things have slowly been taking a little longer. Keep in mind that the standard USCIS processing time is 5-6 months, and you're well within that timeframe. CSC may not be as fast as they used to be, but they are still faster than TSC ever was back then. Timeline estimates are only estimates based on data being put in by users and may not be reliable, a good rule of thumb to judge what month CSC might be on is to check out the numerous K1 filing threads for each month.

Def slowed abit nothing we can do but wait...i dont belive they have started march they are finishing up

February their forum is talking about NVC case numbers so they are moving along im 66 days and counting and im expecting an RFE so i am gonna take even longer...

Anyway at least we can bring our fiancees over...ive been going crazy reading different threads and im getting ready to log in less often....

They're only processing in December 2015 now so major set backs expect a few extra months

What the USCIS claim they are processing, and what they are actually processing is two different things to be taken with a grain of salt.
