It is completely normal to take around 3 months for the GC to arrive. For now her passport stamp is a temporary GC until 1 year from her PoE.

~~moved to general immigration discussion from IR1/CR1 process and procedures. Topic covers a multitude of visas~~

Your old USCIS number won't work for this. You need your IOE number from your ELIS payment. If possible call the USCIS on Monday. Be aware that you do HAVE a green card, just not a hard copy one. Also that it can take up to the full year to get the green card, but most often takes about 1-3 months. After 6 months if you still don't have it then contact your ombudsman and congressman or senator.

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.  - Dr. Seuss

  • 2 weeks later...

For what it is worth, my wife entered the US back in September 2015 (IR-1) and received her I-155 endorsement. We have since went back to the Philippines with just the I-155 stamp in her passport. We went back to get our two sons, one of which already had his CRBA and to complete the CRBA for our infant. At the airport, i made sure i arrived there 4 hours before we were scheduled to depart. Good thing because it took me an hour to educate the airline staff that an i-155 endorsement IS a GC. Now, we are back in the states since April after a 4 month stay in the Philippines with our two sons joining us. However, we still have not received our actual GC. Response to our recent inquiry is, our case is still being processed and additional review was needed. This is perhaps due to us leaving for the Philippines on just an i-155. However, for those that are becoming anxious with just a waiting time of less than 3 months? Use my wife's and my experience to comfort you. If you have done everything correctly? This process is completely out of your hands. Do what you are supposed to do, if at all possible, do not leave the states unless as in our situation, you must. Be patient!

Regards,

Scott, Cherryl and boys

The usual time period for arriving green card approximate 5 to 6 weeks. So you have to wait for some time.During the process of your request, you can only see the update you last time requested to the department of state.
