I already have SSN since I was working on J-1 visa in 2012-2013.

Now I am back to USA and got married and had my last name changed.

After that I applied for AOS/EAD/AP. Now AOS/EAD/AP are being processed.

My question is :

When is the best time to go get my new SSN card? So that my last name is updated and make sure that the card can be used later for work authorization.

I just want to make sure I can start working right away after I got EAD without having to correct my SSN card again and again.

Thanks

* Moved from K-1 Process to Social Security Numbers forum as question is about updating SS card *

Eighteen years in the US and I still don't understand Velveeta, TV ads for prescription drugs, only getting 2 weeks paid vacation, or why anyone believes anything they see on Fox "News".
