Really hoping someone can fill in the blanks. Currently have I-131 pending (part of my I-485 application) for 55 days. My best friend passed away a few days ago and I want to go home for the funeral a week on Saturday. Does anyone know of a situation where it's a non family member and they've approved emergency parole (I haven't found an example on here). Also the infopass website has no appointments, if I just go to the office without one will I be turned away or can I wait?

Appreciate any info

Thanks

Andy

You don't need an infopass, you just go and request an Emergency Advance Parole and hope for the best. You will need your case number, proof of the emergency and 2 passport photos. Since you already have a pending AP you shouldn't have to pay for the Emergency Advance Parole but I could be wrong. I had to pay for mine because my AP wasn't in the system yet. Good luck!
