I'm trying to get a feel of when interviews in Montreal are for work purposes so I can request the time off. How can we check what dates are available for interviews?

We already have DS-160 completed and Montreal already sent us P3. We're just waiting for fiance to sign the checklist and then we can send to the embassy.

When you get packet four sent you it shows you how to sign into the US Visa portal that allows you to book interviews that's the only way you can see them. Montreal interviews are very hard to get since Montreal is the only place in Canada that processes marital visa interviews now. When I went through the process Vancouver was still an option and it was still hard to get an interview! When you do get the instructions and sign into the site I would grad the first interview that pops up. When there is a interview take it if there isn't one keep checking until one pops up.

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

but don't worry you'll get through it :luv:

My fiancée and I have been expecting to be going to Vancouver, as she lives in Saskatchewan, but just recently found out about all K visa's now being processed in Montreal. A crinkle in our plans, for sure.

BWise, when were you able to schedule your interview right when you received packet 4? We are waiting to hear from the consulate after our NOA2.

Thanks for any info!

As stated once you have your P4 you can book your interview date. Normally it's a month+ away. However, Montreal historically has been known to not have any K1 interview slots for months at a time. During that period people tend to keep a thread going in the Canada forum to let each other know when dates open up. Vancouver no longer does K1 interviews so Montreal will be even busier.

You'll have plenty of time to be able to book your time off once you figure out your own interview date.
