Hello VJers,

My I-751 was sent back yesterday from VSC stating I did not submit appropriate fee. I sent 2 separate checks for $505 and $85, not knowing I should have sent just one check for $590.

My question is, can I send the same the same I-751 form I originally submitted. I called USCIS and the agent I spoke with doesn't seem to know. She kept on asking me what the NOA says. I told her it only stated the reason for not being able to be processed and to attach copy of the notice when submitting another application based on this decision. The original I-751 form was stamped "Received 4/13/16". Has anyone been in this situation. Please advise. Thanks in advance!

Is it only the form that has the stamp? Why not just print out another one just in case and then use all your evidence from the first time? If the stamp is only on one page, then just print out that one page and fill it out again.

Are you sure sending 2 separate checks was the issue? Did they not see the 2nd check for $85? This should not have been an issue.

It's only the first page was stamped. The thing is the other pages have signature and was dated with the date it was originally submitted. I can't get definite answer from the rep and I am not sure what to do.

It shouldn't matter. The date you put on the form is the date that you signed it. You do not have to send it that same day.

It shouldn't matter. The date you put on the form is the date that you signed it. You do not have to send it that same day.

It makes sense and explain it on the cover letter. I might try to call again and get another rep. She seems clueless even with the check. Thanks for the response.
