My wife missed the scheduled date for fingerprints

hi everyone,

My wife has missed the day to do the fingerprint for AOS at the local uscis because my mails at my house got mixed up. She filed the original form to request the reschedule for fingerprint :innocent: one day later. The form says if she did not show up as scheduled she will be considered abandonning the AOS application. I'm concerned about the consequence of this problem, and may have to refile AOS? Did anyone have the same problem, what did you do to fix this problem. please advise. Thanks :innocent:

To be honest, I would go down there asap and see if they can't fit you in...lol.

I've heard of others going on the wrong day by accident and being scheduled anyway. It's certainly within their power to do this, especially if you explain the situation. The whole process is really incredibly quick - very much an in-out thing in less than 10 minutes (excluding waiting time) and when I went back in November 2005, there were several people there re-scheduling on the spot. That was in Minneapolis/St Paul.

Anyway - good luck - all hope is not lost. Let us know what happens! :)
