When to book my interview?

Hey,

So I'm using rapid visa to file our K1 (I discovered this treasure trove AFTER I paid the rapid visa fees.) and last night as I was asking them what to do next as our petition is en route to the London embassy. They told me to book my medical and interview (I've booked my medical For next month) as long as I've finished steps 1-3 which were collecting all relevant documents such as police certificates, vaccination list, affidavit of support, ds form. But I'm just worried about packets 3 and 4 coming? I can get an interview date for a week after my medical however I need to pay up front now. Should I book it now or wait for my packets to come?

Thanks!!

You won't get a packet 4 anymore, (or it will be an email)

Packet 3 just says they've got it, and says to book and attend medical, and provides a copy of your 129f.

People have booked interviews as soon as they were able to after receiving the LND number from NVC.

They advise on the site to allow a week or so after medical for them to recieve the completed file, and if you are in doubt about passing the medical, you may wish to wait longer in case additional info is required by the doctor.

You also need to completed the DS-160 and readiness notification on the Embassy's page prior to selecting interview date.

Edit; also, the pinned thread at the top is slightly outdated.

For London: When you send in your readiness form, do they provide an interview date or did you get to book online?

Yeah they say when the next available date is then you can pick a date :-)
