hello

we are doing k1 and k2. i know i need a written consent from the father of my child allowing him to take with me to usa at the time of my ibterview but i m wondering what kind of written consent is required. do we need to hire a lawer or do somewhere? if anybody have also done it here, would like to see the sample. thank u in advance

If the father agrees for you to bring the child with you to the USA then something like this for him to sign would be enough...You just have to have it notarized and certified with signed witnesses.

Declaration for International Travel with one legal guardian

I,_____________________of_________________________,Country's name , declare that I am the lawful father of,

1. Name of the child , (male/female) , born Month, day, year, at place of birth

I and my former wife, Name , both have full custody of our child listed above and here I am giving my consent and permission to my former wife to have our child travel with her to the United States of America.

Signed on this xth day of month,2016.

That form should have more than just travel to the US.....it should also read to travel to the US and permanently reside there. Also I give consent for the child to return to "the home country" and then return again to the US.
