It doesn't. No matter how you break it down - age, sex, race, location, income, there is almost no demographic where "most" people are gun owners. The statement was wrong to begin with. And that wasn't even the whole assertion, since there was a "criteria" that I really don't wan't to go into.

The fact is most tenants of low income housing don't even own firearms.

rv's are commonly gifted by middle class elderly to their younger white trash grandkids when they're 'just starting out'. starting a family and maintaining a mobile heroin lounge in one shot for nothing but lot rent is a lucky draw for sure, but it happens.
